I just took in on trade 2 pairs of Peavey weatherproof speakers. These are plastic cabinet speakers that can handle about 150 watts RMS, and are great if you want to put something more substantial than 'rock' speakers outdoors permanently. I've got a second pair, but the woofer has issues, I'll list those once I repair the one woofer. Model number PR 1003. These are currently wired for 70 volt, but can easily be converted to 8 ohm by removing the internal 70 volt transformer.

Metal grilles, almost bulletproof horn and speaker cone. Can be left outdoors for years, I've seen these be installed exposed in Whistler BC, the ski resort.

$150 per pair.
