I just received my Moome card yesterday, and it really helped on my picture quality. Compared with HD FURY 3
There is a few mecanical things thats not 100% perfect. The mounting holes is a ½ hole to low, compared with the original plate, so cant put the screw.
It would be nice if the brace under the HDMI inputs were a bit lower, cant plug my van den hul ultimate hdmi. The body on that plug is to big.

Then i noticed that mine didn't have the beeper mounted.. Is that normal.?

That beeper in the right side. That is supposed to make you hear when you use the remote..

http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31147

Ill make the hole bigger, so it will have the right location... Wink

I know its possible to push around the rest of the plates a bit, and put all the screws, but its not my way.. Thumbs Down

It would be a easy fix to put the holes right in a future version.

Its not that the holes are wrong, It is that the top plates are always going to move. they all have a little play in them. And the
assemblers may not have got them right.

And the beeper for the Sony is their owners need reassurance that something is working on them. Wink Very Happy

LOL... Well i see the beeper is also on some of these boards, and it would be nice, the remote is not that smooth to operate.

The hole is 1,6mm down from center, plate is 38mm high, original holes are in the center 19mm from both sides. this one is 20,6mm down from the top. Its not possible to push the plate above enough. And you would need force, and destroy the screw and the hole to put it... I need to take it out a few times i'm sure.

Do your rear panel look like this.?

HDMI card overstock sale

Moome needs to clear some overstock of HDMI cards for CRT projectors so he has cut prices to blow them out fast.

If you're looking at adding HDMI to your CRT projector, now's the time to do it! An HDMI input is required to use most of the latest sources such as DVD/Blu-ray players, PS3, and satellite/cable.

Some older card versions are also available in extremely limited quantities. While we recommend the latest version for high end 8-9" CRT projectors, with lower end 7-8" units the difference will not be as noticeable so this is a good chance to save a few dollars.

Quantities are limited. First come, first served. For complete details see the respective order pages listed above.

Questions? Post here or email us at Moome@CurtPalme.com

I recently purchased A Moome card with the dual inputs for my Marquee 9500. In the left input I had a direct connection from the HDMI output of my Bluray. In the other was a dircet connection from the HDMI of my computer. Initially all was well. Now I am not getting an image from my Bluray despite the light being green on the back of the Moome card. When I disconnect the computer from the right and put the bluray into that one, I get a picture. Is my card bad?

Any updates on when version 4 will be available? I just picked up one of these projectors and want to buy one of these, as I'd prefer to simplify my setup as much as possible.

I've emailed Moome multiple times now with the same question over the last month or so. I have not heard any news unfortunately. As soon as I hear anything I will post.

Thanks, Kal. I have an e-mail in to Moome as well. Hopefully one of us will hear something sooner rather than later.

Last batch of Marquee HDMI cards available for pre-order
January 3, 2013

Previously discontinued, your constant prodding has convinced Moome to make one last batch of Marquee v3 HDMI cards.

They are tentatively scheduled to start shipping mid to late February 2013. Special pre-order pricing is available.

These cards are a must-have for enjoying Blu-ray 1080p Full HD on your Marquee, Madrigal, TAW, or Vidikron CRT projector (and other clones).

Two HDMI inputs, IR remote control, and adjustable gamma boost for perfect shadow detail. Installation takes 5 minutes (plug and play).

For complete details see our Marquee VIM-FULLHD order page. Quantities are limited.

That's a good question. Interest has died down. He's done with NEC cards completely (it took forever to sell off the last batch and only after he discounted it a lot).

Marquee sales are down too I think. Last email I got ~2weeks ago was that "maybe" a more expensive v4 Marquee card would be developed after mid-2013.

It would be nice to know if we all should run to get a extra V3, or we have some some useful upgrade in a V4 if there ever will be one..

I would hate spending that much money for something i maybe never will use.

How many cards is a batch.?

Will there be a V4 ?

For v4 upgrades I'd look at the Sony V3 card for comparison. For whatever reason they're a version behind the Marquee cards it seems. It's here:

http://www.curtpalme.com/IFB-FULLHD.shtm

While it's no guarantee, I would expect the new features to be similar.

Not sure, but that's not informatiopn that helps customers in any way since you don't know how many he sells/how many buy. Asking people on the forum is not a good way to gauge interest as the vocal users here are a tiny fraction of the paying customers.

That's up to Moome. As I mentioned above, the last email I got from him (approx 2 weeks ago) was that "maybe" a more expensive v4 Marquee card would be developed after mid-2013.
