Just got one off of Craigslist. Haven't tested it yet to see if it works. This model any good?

More or less at the lower end of the scale, but I think it has glass heads that never wear out, and recording frequency response should be flat to 18K with a decent tape.
Get some control cleaner, the Caig stuff, clean all switches, and use isopropyl alcohol to clean the tape path.

Yeah, I figured as much. It was free, it looks cool, it's in mint condition, and he gave me a bunch of 70's tapes to go with it, Aerosmith, and I don't know what all. Four speakers, a Brady Bunch era Yamaha tape deck, and a techniques receiver.
