I just hooked up my WIM-HD card to my EM8500 but canīt get a picture. Witch channel do you find it on?

I run a HDMI cable direct from a Panasonic 686 DVD. All 3 lights are on. First I start the projector then the DVD, is that the right way to go?

Hi

I gave up trying to get a picture since i hade no DVD with HDMI out but now i have a PS3. I have turned of 24Hz but I still get a message "SYNC?" and "V scan out of range" and no picture. I have tried to run the signal to the scaler (HD Leeza) and from there to the card but no luck. I can see that all 3 lights turns on when I turn on the PS3 (two of them turns on when i turn on the projector).

I have tried to clean the contacts on both the Moome card and the bigger input-card but no luck so far.

Running component from PS3 doesnīt work. I switch to input 2 on my EM 8500LC.
Any suggestions?

Best regards Per

Channel Wink

Ok Just kidding, the PJ should be on Source 02 . if no picture still select the correct input for either HDMI or Component on the Moome Card.

You have the version with one HDMI and the Component correct?

If you have the two HDMI is has no component, but there is still a select button on the card or use the remote pointed at the card, you need to look at the card to make sure the remote signal is being accepted by the card. I light will flash.

once you get the input set up save it as a new channel.

Athanasios

PS its Which Channel Wink Just teasing you a little Smile

This is what I can read on the card.

VIM HD V1.02
2007.06.13
PJI -HD INC.

It is supposed to be a new card, never installed before I got it. I did not buy it direct from you but I trust the guy I bought it from 100%

it is a old version, here is the VIM HDMI history:

VIM-HD
VIM-FULLHD
VIM-FULLHD V2

and if three led light up and no blinking, it should the edid problem or the dvd player setting,
did you try dvd's hdmi output with other display like LCDTV?

thanks

Hi

Yes, all three led light up when I send a signal from PS3 (one goes black if I turn PS3 of) and no blinking. HDMI from PS3 and DVI-D from scaler (HD LEEZA) works fine on other devices. I have also tryed to take a signal from a laptop but no luck. I have turned off 24Hz on PS3.

What is the edid problem?

Best regards Per.
