Here is my working setup:

PS3 --> HDFury --> Crescendo RTC2200 (RGB) --> Marquee

Dish VIP622 (component) --> Crescendo RTC2200 (component) --> Marquee

Here is my attempted setup:

PS3/Dish VIP622 --> HDMI switch --> HDFury --> Crescendo RTC2200 (RGB) --> Marquee

This does not work. On the source selected the swither has a green LED that glows always but a red blinking LED. The screen is black. I have tried powering up in this order: Switch, Source, Crescendo (in essence this is the TV?).

Possibly a bad switch? Maybe another power up order? HDCP Evil or Very Mad

What resolutions are you trying to use and do you have the power supply for the HDFury?

1080i

I am running the HDFury directly into the Crescendo so no power supply is used.

Sounds like you need the power supply.

I purchased the passive 2 to 1 HDMI switch and had to return it because it would not pass 1080p. No problem with the active 3 to 1 switch. Try reducing the resolution and see what happens.

Is the blue light in the fury on?

Don't recall about the blue light, I am not at home now so I can't check yet. I thought the power supply was only needed when the fury had to drive a length of cable on it's output.

Is there a concensus that the power supply also helps with HDCP issues as well?

The fury needs power coming in on the dvi input connector or in the power jack on the side. The power supply made a big difference in picture quality for me at 1080p. Is your switcher powered?

Power Supply (wall plug): Available in US (120V/60Hz), Euro (230V/50Hz), and UK (240V/50Hz) configurations with different plug types. Required if the HDMI/DVI cable is longer than 5m/16' or if the source device is unable to supply adequate power.

Yes, switch is powered. Guess I'll have to try a power supply on the fury. Thanks.
