I bought a used rtc2200 from someone off of these forums. I got it today, and they never sent the power adapter. What specs, other than 9v AC am I looking for in an adapter?

as long as it has enough VA so provide the current required for the box.
I'd guess 500ma would be plenty.

Thanks. I was looking at where the ac adapter plugs in, and it's just a hole, there is no piece in the middle of the hole. Sorry, not sure how to word that. I'm not sure what end the adapter would need. It looks more like a headphone jack, than an ac adapter jack.

Hi, Cornelius. I'm looking at the plug on my RTC2200's power supply, and you're right. It looks exactly like a mini headphone plug.

The writing on the unit says:

Part No. 209051
Class 2 Transformer
Input 120VAC 60Hz 9W
Output: 9VAC 500mA
Made in China

On the right center of the label next to the UL seal is:

3D81
E175399

Hope this helps! The RTC2200 is a great piece of gear, and I hope you get yours working.
