Any other ideas what could cause the range problem of my Pronto?

Crazy idea! Do you have extra marquee remote, if yes take ir leds from it and put those to 501

Too bad I dont have a second remote. But I do have a second IR sensor Smile
So my plan was to put a second IR sensor into the marquee. It should be possible, since the CLM provides an input for a second sensor. But I don't know the exact wiring yet (which cable from the sensor has to go to which connector of the mini stereo plug)
Any suggestions / schematics welcome!

Works now! I put together a second IR sensor and plugged it in the back of the marquee. Works great Smile Finally the Pronto controlls everything. Really like it. Detailed information about the pin configuration on the CLM can be found in the CLM schematics. Thanks Tim for pointing me to the right direction Thumbs Up

Good day to all,

I have two of these Boston Acoustics babies and I am thinking to use one of them to control my HTPC. Are there any ready manufacturers codes that can be directly used for a PC, built around Windows 7 Pro, to control the main functions for Windows Media Center mode?

If not, what should I have to do to program the A7rc to do these functions?

Thanks in advance.

Nothing pre-configured that I know of but it will learn those commands from your existing remote. Just remember that the 501 learning sensor is on the bottom so you must teach it head to foot.
