Yeah! I've had a few low end sets over the past couple years - an ECP Graphics with cooked tubes, a 1041Q that my roommate spilled beer all over and i'm currently using an old Zenith Pro851 - I've been looking for quite some time to find a nice upgrade for some blu-ray movies.. Just missed this 6PG by a few hours apparently. Actually Kal, I thought it may have been you that got ahold of it Wink

Try a MUCH nicer machine. Funny man. Smile

Keep your eyes open, especially in hte States just south of you. There seem to be a lot of deals to be had in the used market lately. Lots of mid range stuff going up for sale.

Incidentally, I lept and got myself "clubbed" - Membership that is.

Yeah - I figured but c'mon! $100 for a 6PG is hard to pass up!

Mr. Green - thanks for the heads up - any websites I should be frequenting other than ebay?

Actually, I pass up stuff like that all the time! What am I going to do with a lesser projector? If it's a good deal, but not good enough to resell at a profit, there's no point since I'm not going to use it.

Yeah, I used to save stuff or jump on stuff but I've stopped as the crap was just piling up. Every time I pass on a 'deal' for something I never needed in the first place, I'm able to save up and eventually spend on something I do actually need. Wink

I guess I've just discovered that a deal on something you don't need isn't really a deal at all.

Kal

I can relate to that. I passed on a steal, I mean a deal on a G90 just a few months ago. I kicked the idea around for a day or 2 but in the end, decided to pass. Of course I still think about that one occasionally. Confused

A G90? Are you mad?!?! Shocked Depending on what you mean by "a steal" I would have driven great distances for that one.

By steal I mean..........well lets just say a larger flat panel from Walmart would of cost more.

I just couldn't decide where to draw the line so I passed it on. Neutral

I didn't know you would of been interested. I actually did give the info to someone else here who I believe, did acquire it, along with a bunch of other goodies the guy had for yardsale prices.
