Kim,
For the rct2200: the jumper 5,7,8 and 10 are short , 6 and 9 open .
I will try another switch, could give me the reference of each for the buf2000 :
1
2
3
4 negative sync
5 negative sync
6 positive sync
7 positive sync
8

After test :
For barco 801g use the sync on green, only the first switch on, it's work.

Hi Kim, I'm just doing preliminary testing here tonight. I'm trying to run 1152x864@72Hz through this but the monitor won't "wake up" when I have the dongle plugged in. I have the dongles power supply connected. Is there anything I should change, jumpers?

Have I labeled the in and outputs on yours? The input is the female connector, the output is the male connector. Also, do you have a switch block on yours or have I hardwired it.

Ahhh then I have it backwards! Why did you decide to do the male/female that way? Wouldn't it be better the other way around?
This one has SW1 and the block of mini DIP switches, 8 position. Switched as follows:
1 off
2 off
3 off
4 off
5 off
6 on
7 on
8 off
Do you have an info sheet on what these do?
Thanks,
Jeremy

Ok dug up the proper cables and hooked it all up. I see that SW1 is on/off. Cool feature. I'm curently running into my Princeton Ultra 95 monitor. I'm going to fire up Soldier Of Fortune II and see how things look.
I'm running though 12 feet of cable from my Win98 Classic gaming PC with the GeForce 7800GSoc card

The connectors are that way because the Fury has a male output and so will directly connect to this gamma buffer. The potmeter is 25 turn and you need to turn clockwise to increase gamma. The sync options are 8 posts up but and there is a legend printed on the board, do remember that yours has an issue with swapping H and V when you change from negative sync to positive sync.

Of course! That makes sense. Sorry I didn't think that through before asking.
I like the fact that it's clock wise to increase gamma. That was the odd part about the Box1020. The '1020 hase a single turn pot that you turn counter-clockwise, very odd when you're use to closkwise is more.
I'll look 8 post's up for the info.
Thanks Kim,
Jeremy

Hi Kim, I watched three movies on the Ampro last night at 1080i/30. Your dongle worked perfectly. I'll post some picutres a little later as I have to run soon to Thanksgiving dinner.
I didn't have to change any of the dip switches at all. My video chain is as follows:
HTPC/ATi3450---6ft.Etherial.DVI.to.DVI.cable-->HDFury1|BUF2000--6"RGBHV.hdfury.cable--Extron.MBC.interfacew/6'cable--Extron 202+---RGBS----->Ampro4000G.
You know when I write it out like that it seems very convoluted but I'll tell ya it makes the Ampro look great!
I watched Dune, Spiderman3 ( finaly ) and The Matrix. What a difference this dongle made!
EDIT: added pictures

I am having a sync problem with a positive sync signal and a negative sync projector. I'm using the HD Fury 2. Sounds like I need a BUF2000 doesn't it? Can you please tell me how I go about getting one?

Thanks, I just picked up an ATSC tuner with HDMI output. I have that running into the HDFury1. I'll hook up your BUF to it and run it into my Sony G520P monitor. Handy featuer the box has freeze frame so I'll be able to do some screen shots.
The ATSC box has broken porches at 720P, they are way way too wide. Is there any way to shorten them with the BUF2000?
Jeremy
