since this is doing very low res, I'd go with the old PC solution.

is this the board? http://www.quarterarcade.com/GamePicture.aspx?c=&g=5762&o=0&m=0
that board design has not changed much is a very long time. I have a few of these boards. Tenage mutant ninja turtles uses the same board.
i have a few for sale if you want different ones Smile
with JAMMA, its plug and chug.

That's the board! The JAMMA output is no problem. I had a hell of a time figuring out the output for the 2nd RGB out on there.
Then it took some work to find a video encoder that would play nice with the board.

Funny you mention TMNT, cause I was telling people I thought you could convert a 6 player Xmen into a 4 player, but it turns out I was thinking you could convert a 4 player TMNT into a 2 player I think. All that needed to be done was some sort of reset to make the board recognize the change.

You wouldn't happen to have any X-men 6-player manuals would you? All I can find is the 4-player version.

no, I don't have a manual. go to newsgroup rec.games.video.arcade.collecting
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.video.arcade.collecting/topics
it could be that the board is the same for 4 player. I don't know.
for TMNT, I think they use the same board for two player.

this is for the 4 player version.

The 6 and 4 player boards are pretty different. I don't think the swap works there.
I'll see if there's anything good in the newsgroups. Thanks!
