Hello all,

i am new here and i am not sure if other people have the same issue, i couldn't find it that fast at least...

The issue i have is that i am unable to correctly calibrate this TV following the dummies guide. When starting from the 'Movie' setting, the colors Red and Blue are so far more existing then green, it's impossible to greyscale calibrate them using the 'white balance'. I first have to do a calibration within the service menu, affecting all the default settings to be able to get something out of it.

Then i have to set the backlight to '8' to get rid of bleeding. With these settings, using i1d2 i am unable to even get close to the recommended ftL from '40'. About 17 is the best i get.

Maybe that's the cause i am not able to get the calibration right.

The attached pictures from HCFR are what i am able to get...

Mainly blue is almost impossible to get in line...

apart from this, and some of the settings are far from ideal, the picture within movies looks good to me. But on the other hand, the screen of the smart-hub looks awful washed out...

Is it possible to get the calibration better without touching the backlight setting?

Thanks in advance.
