|
|
I'll get straight to the point. I need a device that strips HDCP so that I can connect it to my display by either DVI-D or HD-SDI or HDCP-free HDMI so I can feed it to a conversion device. So, here are the questions I have..
With the MUX-HD or EXT-HD, are either of them converting the HDMI source to RGB or YCbCr before passing the video to the output source? (I believe the HDFury does this)
Do either of the devices pass the audio through, as well?
Thanks.

striping HDCP and passing the video though is illegal.
The EXT-DH does not pass though audio because it only outputs either digital DVI or VGA or RBGHV. These have no audio ablity. it passes it out of the Toslink port.
I believe the MUX will pass though audio.
