Has anyone dealt with this yet? PDVD is a no go from the disk. Currently following this advice:
"Rip the disk to your HDD, and run the main .m2ts through the freewaer tool TSremux, keeping the audio track(s) you want. Choose Blu-ray output, and PDVD will play the resulting stream fine."
Cool, freewaer. If I ever start a band I'm calling it that.
Anyway, I'm ripping it with anydvd now, and I suppose I will have to revert to an older version of powerdvd in order to play the resulting file.
Anyone found an easier way?

Well, the good news is that this worked fine.
The bad news is that now that I have finished all the monkeying around and can watch the movie, it is too late to watch the movie.
I love my HTPC.

Mine runs threw the trailers, when the menu comes up it will not allow me to select play from the menu.
Here was Cyberlinks response to the issue:
Dear Mike,
Thank you for contacting CyberLink Online Support. We understand your concern related with 3:10 to Yuma. Be assured that this issue has already been escalated to our R&D Team for analysis and they will release a patch soon to resolve this issue. We request you to please visit the website regularly to get the latest updates.
Please feel free to contact us back for any further clarification or for any assistance related to CyberLink Products.
Thank You and Best Regards
There must be something very different about that disk because Arcsoft didn't play it either & had the same problem.

That's the same response I got 2 weeks ago when this disk came out. I think it can possibly related to the immature blu-ray format, and studios trying to use the advanced blu-ray features before the hardware is ready. I was considering giving up the HTPC for standalone, but it seems like a lose lose battle at this point in time.
February we should see a new version of PowerDvd roll out, that hopefully will fix a lot of these issues, and hopefully have working DTS-HD lossless decoding.

Lyd, you could have gone out and bought a standalone player, watched the movie, and taken it back like a good little selfish consumer and then relaxed for an evening.

I found my CD key for the full version uninstalled the OEM, installed the full then the patch and I now can watch the disk.
That was easy!
