Hi Kal, Just wondering if we could get a bump up, on the upload limitation? I just got a message that I hit my 20MB limit.
No hurry, I know you're bussy.
Thanks,
Jeremy

HEY! I just went to re-new my subscription and it said the exchange rate is 1 Canadian Dollar = 0.992982 U.S. Dollars therefore it will cost $20.15 CAD The exchange rate is:
However,
http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert.cgi says.
Live rates at 2007.10.23 04:10:17 UTC
1.00 CAD = 1.02448 USD
Canada Dollars United States Dollars
1 CAD = 1.02448 USD 1 USD = 0.976102 CAD
I think Pay Pal's making a little money on all their purchases no?
I'll grudgingly pay the extra 63.96 cents

Weird - I wouldn't expect to be on THIS list. I would have expected the guys that upload all the screen shots to be higher up.

File size is important too. You're in 17th for number of files uploaded, but 6th for total size. This is because you tend to upload HUGE image files usually in the order of 400-500Kb so I bet you just take your pictures from your camera and upload them as is.
Here's an example: http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/download.php?id=810
This image is 439Kb and the resolution is 1600x1200 which is massive! There's no need for such large files. Reduce it to 640x480 and the size drops to 58kb, almost 8 times smaller. I've attached your file reduced in size (see below).
It has the added bonus that the image is shown inline in the post so more people see it. In your original thread with this image, nobody sees the pics unless you click on them as they're simply too large to show inline with the posts:
http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=23422
Note that Clarence is #1 for uploads but is only in 8th place. This is because all of his pics are smaller.
Kal

Yeah, that's a strange one. I have it set up such any photos larger than 1024x1280 show up as a download link instead of showing the images inline, and your latest pic is only 850x620 (IIRC) but it's not showing up inline.
The file attachment module documentation states:
"With some Images this Feature will not work due to limitations in PHP."
So I don't think there's anything else we can do about it. Strange.
Kal

Ahhh that's funny. All the pictures in my Halloween thread were 1024 x 768 and only showed up as links, so I re-compressed them and they still didn't show.

EDIT: Weird! I just went to that thread and now they show up WTF? I checked on 3 different computers at 3 different places and they were link's untill yesterday.
