It says in the listing to contact him for a delivery quote, I contacted him to ask about a quote and he said he will wait until the auction ended before quoting, no doubt the delivery cost will include the difference between what he expects to get and whatever he actually gets as a final bid amount.

Would this be a better PJ than a Retroblock graphics 808s?

Would it have compatible parts for a Frankenbarco operation?

Best of all the image used from Curt's site is hot linked. Kal can modify the image on the auction!

Here is the code from the auction

i'd like to see kal modify the image.

Code:
<P align=center><IMG style="WIDTH: 380px; HEIGHT: 285px" height=480 src="http://www.curtpalme.com/images/Barco808convergenceboard.jpg" width=640></P>

Added**
Turns out all of the pictures from the auction are from Curts website. This is probably fake. And since when do CRT's use "Lamps" its not an LCD or DLP set.

Code:
<P align=center><FONT face=Arial size=6><IMG hspace=10 src="http://www.curtpalme.com/images/+Barco808s.jpg" align=center border=0></FONT></P>

The fake ones usually get posted as 1-day auctions. I remember the day I thought I found a G-90 going for $100 Smile Either way, I vote Kal does something naughty with the images as well Smile

LOL.

He has such beautiful hair... Can I buy the CHiPs box set in HD-DVD or Blu-Ray yet? That will be the ultimate factor in determining who wins the format war in my book! Wink

Ok, yup. The guy hotlinked to our site. I can't really say that he stole the picture from since, well, I stole the picture from Barco. But hotlinking is REALLY not a nice thing to do as it makes the source site pay for bandwith.

Had he asked if he could hotlink I would have probably said sure. But he didn't so he gets this:

The Eric Estrada pics would be too offensive and would likely cause the auction to be pulled. I like my idea better. Do something that's not really considered offensive. Smile

I was also thinking of putting up pictures of something unoffensive but completely odd and unrelated to really confuse people and make them think WTF?

Pictures like:

Or

Or maybe something more related to projectors:

(The last one would likely have scared away some bidders). Smile

Kal

(P.S. Yes, I know that I myself have hotlinked to these pictures shown above... Wink)

I totally agree, Kal - while Eric is quite funny, it's probably a bit too much for fleabay.

What was the name of that super old school single CRT Sony "portable" PJ with the BETA deck built in? You should get that in there somewhere. Behold its 50 lumen glory.
