I think there may be two BBs being discussed here - Blockbuster and Best Buy. Isn't Blockbuster Blu-ray exclusive now?

Blockbuster has claimed they will be exclusive in renting BDs at their brick and mortar stores. Online they will continue to rent both. Good luck finding a Blockbuster B&M that actually rents HD!

Hey Dave - send me your address via PM and I'll buy you a BR player.

Smile

I am guessing that even free is not cheap enough for Dave when it comes to BR

I'd be OK with a free BD player. At least I'd have the satisfaction of knowing Sony lost their ass on the transaction. Oh, wait... I could buy a PS3 and accomplish the same thing. But, then I'd have to buy something from Sony. Never mind. Smile

For what it's worth, I was at Best Buy last week, and the BD and HD-DVD displays (both HW and SW) were very comparable.
