Not looking for a specific model but I will list some types of CRT I'm looking for:

Sony Trinitron XBR/Profeel, Portable Trinitrons, Console Trinitrons, Commodore monitors, Mitsubishi Monitors, Apple monitors, Professional monitors, SDI monitors, Large MultiSync monitors, and Widescreen pc monitors.

Located in Winnipeg, willing to transact with anyone in Manitoba or Northern ND and MN (when border restrictions ease)

There are random pictures of CRTs I would like to buy below

I had never heard of the Commodore 1084! I still have a 1701 in the backroom somewhere... (and two C64s that no longer work that eventually I may try fixing... though doubtful). Wink

Timex Sinclair 1000, Coleco Adam, Tandy MC-10, Comodore Vic20 & C64+ ( looks like an amiga 500) 486-DX4100 then I started building my own. Fun times. Wish I could go back to 1980 and start all over again!

My path to PC was shorter:

Played around with Commodore PETs in grade school (didn't own one - too expensive!) -> Sinclair ZX81 (pretty much the same as the Sinclair 1000) -> C64 -> 8086 PC -> 386 -> 486 -> Pentium -> The PC list goes on for a while...

Yeah the PET. We had one of thos ein Don Mills back in '82. We also use to goto the high school down the road where they had a 'main frame' that had a bunch of dumb terminals hooked up to it as well as a line printer instead of a screen. There was also an Atari 400 in there but they wouldn't let us play games on it ( after all what else are computers used for? Smile ) They taught us basic on the main frame I remember drawing ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz and thinking it looked like train tracks. Ahh the mind of a 9 year old.
I do remember the ACORN aka the Bionic Beaver ( make joke here ) loved the track ball and color drawing on that one.
Of course we also still had typing class with typewriters while all this was going on.
I believe our CAD PC was an 8088 or 286 in drafting class with the huge digitizer with the puck-curser and the plotter with the pen sets to draw the line drawings from the PC in multiple colors.
