Another issue for Projector number two:

So i needed to swap parts from a working projector and i had this isssue with the supposed donor.

it is in a cinemax chassis, but using 808s quads and i believe an 808 eht.
but did not had issues before , prior to this.
It was left unused for about two years but was always used to check on bad boards ,
again it was working very well prior to this.

I was very confident i had all the boards i needed to get these 909s working for a long time.

This is very nerve wracking, but am still very committed.

on my other post for another bad 909,
My new 4k zidoo player had me very excited again, but has caused a bad v sync board on my other 909 , and brought down two splitters and now can not trace the out of focus issued. These hdmi 2.2 compliant is causing something on the video signal.maybe some d.c voltages leaking into the hdmi signal.

And i still have a third bad pj again, another supposed working unit before storage, as a test chassis,
unbalanced g2 bias , especially on the green crt.

swapped g2 boards and all HV parts and smps, still problem exists. I will make another post on this 3rd Pj issue.

in my own world, crt is running my life again.

Last time I saw something like this was a 480p signal into a 480i S-video input.

Are you trying to put a 4k signal into your projector? This would make everything run hot from the scan frequency being too high.

Is there a way to set that 4k player to 1080p or 720p?

Hi,

Actually the Barco is not seeing any input, that is when the Barco logo pops up.

there are no players connected to this unit when this happened,

It looks like a 3d image, so weird what is happening.

Try changing the H board. I had this once in a Barco 800 or 808. It was due to the large yellow transformer on the H board being shorted.
