Kal, do you have any idea if the view counts for each forum are accurate? It's hard to believe that 50 people are currently reading about Moome products, or 12 reading about Crescendo products -- or 238 people currently reading about CRTs!

It's a somewhat meaningless number that shows how many "hits" to a specific forum from an IP (I believe) happened over a certain timeframe. I can't remember what the timeframe is, but I think it's a few hours? The higher you put the timeframe, the more 'users' you appear to have.
Like you said, there's no way in hell 238 people (let alone the 278 I see now) are in the CRT projector forum.
It also doesn't know the difference between a human and a 'bot like Google. If you click on the detailed user info link it takes you here for more info: http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/viewonline.php
But clearly something isn't right... from that it would appear there are dozens of "guests" in the last hour that are in the process of "Logging on" which can't be true.
