|
|
Dear all,
Was wondering what a 'HV Over' error code means on a Sony 1292.
Unit boots up, and gives code 10 after 6 seconds or so.
What does HV mean and in which board(s) could this issue be?
Appreciate the help!

Not sure why this error might be thrown on a 1292 other than the obvious as HV means "high voltage." Maybe this could have to do with a bad splitter or high voltage lead. Have you removed or unplugged the HV on any of the tubes lately? Maybe a lead isn't inserted all the way and it's arching?

Thanks for getting back to me.
The error starts now with 08, followed by 10.
I have changed the PSU and the two boards on top (DC and E board) I will move my old ones back to see if it works again.
Previous PSU blew up, reason I had to change it.

Alright, placed a second spare PSU that I had- codes are gone now- all boots up but the colors are very shaky / moving from left to right very fast- what could this be?
