Hi Folks,
I'm brand new to this forum and site, so if I stumble, please lend a hand or guidance from your experience.
Thank you
Dave

I have three Sony Multiscan Projectors VPH-1252Q I'm selling for the theater owner.
They are being sold "As Is".
As you can see below, the feedback is they're not worth much at all. So maybe I should trade them for some masks and gloves, or a good IPA. LOL Let me know your thoughts. I'd hate to have them go into the dump.
They do not include any cables.
When they were replaced at the theater, they were working. That's all I can attest to regarding their condition.
Someone had asked about the "burn in" and based on the pictures I sent, he mentioned there was moderate burn-in in the one tube I checked.
Please feel free to stop by Hebron, Connecticut and check them out or send me a message.
These units are 140 pounds each so local pick-up is required.
I'm not interested in attempting to package and ship these units.
Thanks

Hey Dave, welcome! Not to be a jerk, but at this point I'd give those away, especially if they have tube burn. The price and demand for CRT has pretty much tanked , and those are now considered entry level units. Just a thought.

No worries Curt, thanks for the feedback.
I appreciate the input.
Maybe I should. Cause right now, they just need to go.
Or make me an offer....? Share an IPA? Drop off a couple masks and gloves?!?!?! LOL
Thanks again

Also, throw them on your local Craigslist. This forum is pretty quiet, but there's always gamers that are looking for sets like that. For home theater use, likely not so much, but I'll bet some college kid would love one for his dorm. Smile

Good luck!

2-3 weeks from we'll see someone new back here asking "Got a Sony Multiscan Projectors VPH-1252Q for free - how do I set it up?" Wink

There was one locally on Facebook Marketplace for $1750. I then see 2 weeks later that he dropped the price to $100. It's still there. Smile

Advertise on Craigs List "RETRO GAMING PROJECTORS!" Ask $100 each or all 3 for $250 and see what happens.

There's an active retrogaming subforum on reddit. Post them there. Also there are some other dedicated forums with classifieds.

Looks like you sold one

Ya, he wasn't interested due to the burn in, or in coming to get them as he was from Ohio.

I'm trying everything.

I posted them on reddit retrogaming.

We'll see what happens

Thanks again for all the help

I sold the projectors on craigslist! Thanks everyone for your suggestions and guidance.
The person that purchased them runs a mobile arcade. He's thinking about using them outside for presentations or movies.
Thanks again,
Dave

They are being sold "As Is" and separately.
They'd be great for a home theater or gamer.

Take your pick of any of the 3.
