I have Barco 1209s
Upon startup it takes the projector about 2-3 minutes to show picture
Once there’s picture it’s great and no issues.
I can live with that, but can anyone have a clue which board I should try to replace?
Thanks

I can’t find if this board is installed.
Can you help with a picture please.
If no board is installed can you think of other board?
Thanks

You will see it in the on screen menu which will say Soft Edge. There are different models so it may not look exactly like the image attached.

This board is attached to the control board under the cover over the frame. The part you lift up to see the other boards.

This is the only board I know of that will cause this behavior. If its not installed then I would suspect bad caps probably on the Power Supply.

I will first try to look on the on screen menu.
If I don’t find it. That means that it’s not installed and probably bad caps on the SMPS?

Do the menus come on? When the image does come on, does it slowly come into focus, and initially is larger than the screen? If so, you have HV problems, likely the EHT board. if the picture 'snaps' on and goes from nothing to perfect, then somewhere it's video related.

After that the projector works perfectly.
