I've recently purchased a Sony VPH-G70 w/ roughly 7k hours on all three tubes.
It does have burn-in and most of my service adjustments do not work due to faulty convergence/focus board issues.
It's not my main source of video watching in the house, but I'd like to fix it up.
This is my hobby. I own and work on CRT's for fun and it has led me to this projector.
Post if you have parts you'd like to sell or know of someone who does.

Any chance you'd be willing to take some boards out of it?
I'm not a fan of cannibalizing electronics but if it makes no difference to you.

I still have a few boards that I'd sell at $10 USD each plus shipping. No working convergence board (I have a couple, but they are tagged as 'bad', but I should have most of the other boards I think.

Anyway you can check the big IC's (STK392-220) on them even though they're marked "bad"?
I can transfer/ solder them on to my convergence board myself.

No, not possible, sorry! I can sell you the boards cheap if you want, but no guarantees, totally as is. $20 per board plus shipping.

Really needing a working D board. My G70 is pretty useless with the dead convergence controls.
I'd like a few other boards as well. Anyone have some to spare boards that like to help a guy out with?
