|
|
we have a setup here where we have a meeting room HDMI display whcih can be fed from any one of 4 inputs. Three HDMI inputs (laptop, appleTV, chromecast) or a VGA input (old laptop).
I need a box that will take all of these inputs and output to an HDMI which will be attached to the display.
we have many many "PhD smart" people who cannot figure out changing the source of the display, plus we don't have enough inputs on the display.
Crestron puts out the DM-TX-201-c that fits the bill https://www.crestron.com/Products/Video/DigitalMedia-Endpoints/Transmitters/DM-TX-201-C but of course that entails installing an entire cretron system and that ain't happening for oh so many reasons.
Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe an Extron 1606 switcher? Inputs are 2 x VGA and 4 x HDMI, with 2 x HDMI outputs. Easy lit buttons on the front that your users could not likely misinterpret

the extron SW series HD switchers would be good as well...( with a couple VGA to HDMI cables ..) single display output so they can't screw that up! the SW6 HD 4K would give you a couple extra inputs for future additions.

Zap. Kramer makes them. I just speced an auto switching one into a job. About $750 CDN dealer cost.

I'd love to, but we're fully booked for the next month. I can order in the Kramer stuff for you though. If it can wait until mid May, then no problem bidding.
