|
|
Just checking to see if anyone in Canada is taking down a working CRT with good tubes and good working condition now or in the future and want to save it from going to the trash. I am looking to see whats available for gaming and movies.
I am mostly interested in the
Barco 1209, 1209s, Sony G90 or Marquee 9500 / Ultra / Marquee 8500LC / Nec XG1352LC
as these will accept 15Khz but the Barco 909s start at 31khz which limits it usefulness for retro gaming.
I would need the seller to bubble wrap it and strap it to a pallet and bring it to Day and Ross Terminal for shipping.
Day And Ross is the only shipper that has a terminal near me.
https://dayross.com/tools/terminals
Most provinces have terminals in all major cities.
Please post or send me a msg with asking price. thanks
PS I talked to Curt and all he has are 909s and I am going to see if anything else is available first due to the 15khz not being accepted.

Hello
Not many 8500LCs were built and very few tubes But......the 180DMB22 tube can be stripped of hardware and mount in the 8500LC housing. VDC Florida has maybe seven sets of 180DMBs they want gone, I can get deals on these for youse guys.

Too bad I didn't know you needed one. I drove right through there in September. I have some 1292's laying around.
