The 909 start, Green and blue are ok, but no picture on red tube

There is a orange glow at the base of the 3 tubes

Could you help me to diagnostic?

To test and find the defect board is it possible to invert cables on green and red tube without damage :
- only the 2 neck board cables without Vertical+horizontal scan connectors ?
- only Vertical+horizontal scan connectors without the 2 neck board cables ?

Or wath are possible defect board HOR DEF, VERT DEF, SMP2+G2, CONV,???..

Thank you

Regards

Yes, it is ok to swap only the cables but you should swap the neckboards too.
Could be a defective RGB-driver board, vertical board or horizontal board too.
And don't forget to shut off the projector before you remove any board and cable/connector.

Most likely a bad neckboard. The chips on them can die, and they are not available. Custom made for Barco.

I do have spare working neck boards here if that is the issue. Swap the red to the green and vice versa to confirm. Definitely not a problem on the boards common to all three tubes.

Thank you for your help.

The problem was the focus board R7631395.
