|
|
Hello,
When I turn on my BG 1209s, the picture is very dark during 15-20 minutes (brightness is set to 45). I assume this is the warm-up even if with my previous pj (BG808) I don't remember this issue. Then after around 1 hour, the picture is much brighter and I need to set the brigthness to 32 if I display the black level test pattern (chrompaure 3 caibration disk).
It looks like some components (caps ?) are too old and need a lot of time to warm-up.
What do you think? Is there a specific board which could be faulty?
Thanks

Are all R, G and B affected uniformly?

I have to check it. I calibrated with the Display 3 Pro and I have a nice RGB curve from 10% tp 90% grey. The gamma correction is also fine but only after that the brightness is higher (one hour after).
I do not know which board is dedicated to brightness level.

Not about the calibration, but does the white point stay roughly white during the warmup? Are menues dim too?
