Even tho I mentioned this in my reply to Jeremy112's "Epson Garbage" thread, I thought I'd put up separate post for this online deal on Epson 3010's. I have owned one for about 8 months now and its totally awesome; as a result of having 3D now have become a huge fan of 3D blu-rays now - scarfing up every one I can get my hands on.
I have mine on a 96" wide screen throwing a 110 diagonal image. It does 1080p @ 24fps and the image quality is amazing.

For $649 it comes with 2 year limited warranty 2 business day replacement with free shipping, and 2 pairs of glasses as well, which are $135 Cdn list each.

Definitely do that if you like it as the 3D format's basically dead. (Major TV manufacturers are no longer producing 3D TVs and the newest 4K Blu-ray standard doesn't include 3D).

Yeah I know. Usually I am on the bleeding edge of things AV, eg I was an early HD-DVD adopter and staunch supporter, but in this case its the trailing edge.
There are a few 4K releases out there that are including a 3D version, which is nice. I just bought "Moana 3D" at Costco last night and I cant wait to throw it into my player. Before that, the 3D Star Wars EP 7, was incredible - even if it was a Stereo-D conversion it had great depth and no "gimmicky" crap whatsover. The packaging is really nice with the jet black case and lenticular lightsaber on the snow/trees background from the final scenes of the movie.
Probably the best 3D i've seen to date though is "Hubble 3D" shot with IMAX 3D cameras. It makes you feel like you are "up there" with the astronauts.

Can this also be used as a gaming projector? I need a projector for gaming in my room.

My son had his PS4 plugged into it back in January and he complained it was slightly laggy. Maybe a resolution mismatch tho , where conversion time was introduced. Not sure.
