Looking to place the CRT projector in a floor mount inexpensively. My idea was to do something homy looking, but we're talkinga about +150lbs. Most times I have done a CRT setup, the PJ was behind the couch on a piece of furniture. This time would be the same.

My guess was to buy some kind of shelving from Home Depot, something like this but with two to bridge the machine. Just one is 30 in. H x 23.25 in. W x 13.375 in

or use a Steel Rack, like this one at 6' high, 6'5" wide, 2' deep.

I read the tittle as THIRTY(30!) projector floor rack. You got me excited there for a second.

Go with either wood or steel not any kind of particle board though. My projection cart was built from hard wood skids ( palettes ). It's held up very well and puts the projector over my head and behind my chair.

Man, I bought this new media cart to solve the problem. The sucker is too damn high! The projector image goes on part of the ceiling. When the rear is lifted it works, so will find the right heights and such over the weekend.

Dimensions are (WxHxD) 32 x 40 x 24" -- not sure if that includes wheels or not!
