The Frankenyoke experiment has ended. I've tossed out all that stuff. Nobody asked about it, nobody wanted it, I'm not spending any more time on it.

The last of my Frankenyoke project yokes are in the dumpster tomorrow morning.

I doubt anybody will care.

I'm keeping all G90 magnetics because I believe it takes only a very simple mod to make them run in a Marquee. I hope to finish that experiment that I started, very soon.

I will setup my Barco Cine 9 with new LUG's and colored C-Elements now.

Colored C-Elements of course.

Ratio/Refresh will be 817p@72Hz through a Lumagen XS.

Brightness is set to 40, contrast to 75

Very bright in my batcave Thumbs Up

Oblivian UHD played with Oppo 203 into a Lumagen XS and out with 817p@72Hz to a Moome Barco card (internal)

Look great ElTopo
Hard to see how good the actual picture is by a photo. Also because its so small. If you have done everything correct you get a very fine picture.
My 909 has around 14 Fl and look great, but swap was done when I saw the Sony 4K.
I wont sell the 909 yet might build a retro cinema for all my dvd's and laser discs.

Ultimately it comes down to the same old discussion we have had many times. If you like what you are watching then thats all that matters.
