Guys
Can't recommend this---the thin wire will be lossy at 100 feet.

I think I have two 50 foot Extron RGBHV cables, the big thick ones. Even when adding VGA breakouts and BNC unions you'd still have less loss from this setup than with any 100 foot VGA cable I've seen.

Longest VGA cable I've met is around 33 feet. I don't think they make longer exactly because of the thin wire diameter. I do own a 100 feet long proper RGBHV cable though, and I have to say the signal-loss is overexaggerated. Unless you have a 9 incher tuned to utter perfection, and a screen size where you notice a mosquito on the canvas, you're not going to care, provided your BNC connectors are good quality(it's about the same as using a 33 feet long VGA).
If you really need to pass video feed over that long a distance, get one of the digital extension solutions where the signal is passed in the form of a digital signal through UTP cables for example.

Nope this is for Hallowe'en, need to get 800x600 upstairs x 2 to my upstairs projectors. Needs to last 6 hours at most.
Thanks for the recommendations though.

Analog- I did this years ago, with cable that cost me $10 a foot back then.. did it twice actually, one with an RGB amp in the middle of the run, and it worked, but yeah, there was some high frequency losses both times.

Yeah I figured it would have some roll off. I grabed some craptastic skiny 100 foot VGA cables. I'll test soon to see if they can carry a 800x600 signal good enough for Hallowe'en

One set tested, had a bit of oddness for a minute then a good picture.
Second set coming up.

Tested pretty good surprisingly. I even upped the resolution to 1440x1050 on the 304 no difference at the other end comming off the VSC500.
I think my Extrons have eyes.
