Hello,

I am wanting to purchase two top case panels in matte black for my BarcoData 808s CRT projectors.

Ideally, they will have the remote covers but those aren't essential.

Please let me know if you have any available.

Thank you.

Good luck with that, I believe all stock Barcos were cream/white. Best bet is to take your white ones to an auto body shop and have them spray them.

Oh. I didn't realise matte black wasn't stock. I have two BarcoData 808s in matte black, so the previous owner must have sprayed them. I'm wanting some replacement panels as they are scratched/scuffed.

If I can find some cream/white panels, I would change the projectors to stock colour.

Any chance you have some cream/white casing panels available for purchase?

Thank you.

I've pretty much thrown out all case parts, and I'm sure that what I have left isn't any better than what you have. I'd do the auto body shop thing, a good shop will do a great job, and won't charge too much. With teh size and weight of the panels, shipping would be very expensive as well from Vancouver to England.

Okay. I'll give the auto body shop thing a go, and see how the panels turn out.

Thank you.

Make sure to ask for adhision promoter ( helps paint stick ) and primer before the paint.
I've seen shops paint directly on the plastic and the paint just doesn't last like that. Too prone to chipping as its not properly stuck.
