Qualifier: I am not a videophile/audiophile. Do not grill me with technical questions please.

I have a NEC XG-1352 projector that I do not know what to do with? We moved into our home a few years ago and this projector was in the home theater. It was experiencing some issues with color/picture so we replaced it with a more modern unit.

Is there a market for these types of projectors...particularly in Minneapolis? I am willing to sell at a great price to someone willing to fix.

Thanks,
NJS

At this point, no, not really, especially if there's a problem with it. You'd have to pull the lenses off to take pictures of the tubes, but even then, assuming mint tubes, I don't think you'll get $200 for it. NEC tubes wear very quickly, so assuming it's had some use, expect some tube wear. I'd list it as a freebie either here or on Craigslist.

people are giving away working ones, chances of someone buying a broken one pretty much zero.

Well the term "experiencing some issues with color/picture" can simply mean the lack of convergence setup...

I'm not to far away from you and would be interested in this one if you still have it.
