It seems to start up fine but the tubes wont turn on and nothing happens when I press the remote.

Before (when it was working) I had this green text saying no source was available (when nothing was hooked up) but now nothing, even though the green light is lit on the rear of all the tubes. first two indicator lights are solid red and the third is blinking (cpu). When I press the remote I see that its reactiing (indicator lights) and when I select different inputs I see that some of the lights on one of the cards are changing, but still no output on the tubes...

Anyone got any clue what can be the problem?

Check all the leds, are any red on the smps2 or vertical board. Is there any sign of life if you look into the lens? If not check the led on the EHT board.

If I connect a vga signal the only two red leds go out (one on the switcher board and one on the vertical deflection board). That is, all is green after that. On the horizontal deflection board the red led never lights up at all.... Some components on the horizontal board get quite hot thought so I don't think there is a blown fuse on the SMPS board...

In Barcos, red lights are bad, green lights are good, except on the controller board where all lights are red. Block match means the projector is seeing the signal and is locking to a memory location, so that's fine. Check the red LED on the EHT board. If that's on, you're in HV shutdown mode. I'm out of town now until Friday, but I'll follow up when I get back,

More than likely the quad has failed. Do you have a spare?
