watching Tennis with the Lumagen can be very discouraging because it frequently goes out off sync, you then se the tennisball double.
How can I get the sync to work correctly?
Thanks

What Radiance are you using?

What source? What is the resolution/refresh rate of the source?

What resolution/refresh rate do you have the output of the Radiance set to?

What display (make/model)?

What length and brand of HDMI cable do you have between the source and the Radiance?

What length and brand of HDMI cable do you have between the Radiance and the display?

Are there any other devices between the source and the display or is it straight: Source -> HDMI cable -> Radiance -> HDMI cable -> Display

It's not just Tennis - It's the speed at which the ball (or any object) moves and the fact that the source chose to capture and/or broadcast in interlaced which means 2 passes are required to capture and there's a slight shift between frames, enough for the ball to move. Usually sports is done in progressive instead of interlaced for this exact reason.

You may need to enable field flip in the Lumagen for your source. Some interlaced sources provide the frames in the opposite (wrong) order and this must be manually set in the Lumagen to correct. It's in the input menu.

Some displays and other devices can fix a flipped field on their own making you think the Lumagen is the fault, but it's really just a crap shoot and the Lumagen provides a way to fix the error in the source.
