Yesterday i did a first setup on my new screen with 3m in width.

Setup gave me about 5.5 fL with brand new P19Lug tubes but in a complete dark room. So the image is bright enough.
On my old screen with 2,35m in width i had about 9fL.

The moome EXT v3 was connected to the Cine9 but will be replaced soon by the internal moome card.

Pics to follow....

Looks good. Natural ultra low noise. Did you see the pictures of a Cine 9 stack on AVS? Ever considered a stack on the large screen?

This one was also Seos 919 from Spotmatic. There is something magic about them. I am going to work on the 909's in 2016!

Stack needs perfect alignement. If not it becomes unsharp.

Blend doesn't.

My Cinemax would not drift at all. It needed almost no warmup. I have to test the others to see if they are as good but if we can converge 3 colours 6 colours must be possible too.

About those screenshots, they where made with the best camera's but it is funny that you can blow them up and still no noise while those Marquee shots have to stay small Smile

Yes they are ok I think I see you have a fine setup. But those I posted where made with very expensive camera's. I know Spotmatic personal he is also Dutch.

Yes possible. He also had the 919 at the height of his shoulder so almost in the middle of the screen. He had one disadvantage and that was that he could not hear very well so the Barco close to his ears was no problem Smile

It was a 909, 2M wide screen indeed. He had the hd300 lenses and very poor corner focus. Tubes with zero wear and lots of life left in them even after several hours of use in a very large planetarium.

I'm still using the set ever since. I have the pre-production version and it still rocks. Internal is so much better than external.
I just calibrated a VW520 and JVC X5500. Black, smoothness and analog film like picture from the 919 is still much better, but light output....hmmm. Those new pj's are real light canon's especially with HDR content.
