Decided to cancel the cable since I literally don't watch it at ALL. So I want to make the switch to a streaming media box of some sort.
What's currently the "best" one in terms of functionality, features, quality, etc...? I never got into these since I use a HTPC for the theater, but wouldn't mind having a streaming box for a couple of the TV's
Also are there any of these that can do live streamed TV? Any advice is appreciated!

SmartTVs have it already built in as do many Blu-ray players. You can also watch on your PC so nothing extra required.

Thanks for the links Kal!
As far as smart TVs go, I have one in my bedroom, but the reason I'm searching for a streaming box is because the 2 TVs I had cable on, are both CRT . One's a Sony KD-34XBR970 and the other is a Pioneer Elite rear projection HDTV. The Sony has HDMI, and I use a HD Fury for the Pioneer since it has VGA which works nicely with the HD Fury Gamer.
I'm actually looking to use Hulu plus on the box. I have a Sony Google TV NSZ-GS7 but unfortunately it appears that's not very supported anymore. (Flash wont update on it anymore)
I was actually looking at the ASUS Google Nexus player, a Roku, or even an Amazon Fire Stick. Anyone have experience with the nexus player & Amazon Fire? I know what the Roku is all about, but just want to make sure I'm not missing much on the other two devices.

Yeah on the Amazon you can speak to the remote and say "Gary Busey"
