Guys, I've got a 1292 chassis on the bench, fully working, and since it's very rare that someone emails me about repairing or parts for them, I'm parting it out. I also have a second 1292 that I've also tested as working.

Tubes are OK on both sets, blues have some wear, emission and focus is good. Red C elements are already gone, sorry!

I have one guy that has dibs on the H and V boards on one set, but I need to hear back from him.

Everything else is available dirt cheap!

All I'm looking for is ONE of the snap-in style HD10 lens covers that shipped with 1292s. Got one?

Sorry, haven't seen one of those in years, I do know what you're talking about though.

I think he is just talking about an ordinary HD10 lens cover.

I could use two sets of HD10 lens covers, to.
Thought i could use the HD8B covers,
funny they're too big in diameter.
Regards, Julian

No, Sony had snap-in plastic covers that were pretty solid compared to the 'over the lens' caps as everyone else used.

Curt knows the item. It's a far cry from the cheap blow molded covers that HD10s ship with.

It's actually a lot like a pinch cap for a camera lens, only, obviously, a bit larger in diameter.

I have two out of three.
