So I received my Moome V3. Love at first sight. Had a small problem with the connector no snapping into the plug. Two small screws solved the problem. Got up from behind and walked away. My left leg (Prothesis) hooked on the HDMI cable and ripped it out of the socket. Took part of the socket with it. Isolated the pins and selected the other input. Life was once more good. Now the present problem. We had some heavy weather last night. I turned off all the computers and STBs and went to bed. Much boomers and lightning seen through the window. This morning when I turned on the 8500 for the wife, there was nothing. Awe, see the problem with the STB. Called Charter for a hit. Nothing. Denied the service call and took the box back for an exchange. New box would not activate with the automated system but the pro from Dover was able to do it. Had sound, no picture. Swapped the box with one in the BR. Works fine. BR box won't run PJ. When the PJ power is off there is a green light above the input. When I turn on the PJ the light changes to red and the STB displays an EF01 error. This problem must be with the V3 and could be the same cause as with the original box. Any suggestions beside replacing Moome's input? Can't afford anther.

Well it IS nice to deal with reputable people. Even though it was non of his fault, Moome has contacted me and will repair my input for a small fee. Life is good.
