Hello everyone,
I have an issue with my new moome card installed. I have a ps4 connected with hdmi to the moome card installed in my projector. It looks great for about 5-10 minutes then it gets all jaggie. I never had this issue with an Xbox 360 hooked up via vga. It almost seems that once the projector warms up something is causing some interference of some sort which distorts the picture. I've checked for loose cables and made sure the card is seated correctly. I've used the ps4 on my TV with out issues. Anyone have any suggestions on what may be the cause or how to fix this? Thanks

What resolution and refresh rate do you have the PS4 set to?

I should have included that. I have the ps4 set at 1080p. In order to play Blu Ray movies I had to turn off the 1080p/24fps option in the ps4 menu. I guess I'm not sure what the ps4 defaults to for fps. Again, everything looks beautiful for about 10 minutes.

I switched to 1080i and that seems to work well.

Sounds like the HDM is getting too hot for that resolution. Can you tell if the fan is running under the HDM?

Yes, it sounds like all is well with the fan running. It doesn't sound different than any other time the projector is on.

What is your H width set to? If over 80, try reducing it to under 80 to see if that cures your problems at 1080p.

I'll try adjusting that tonight after work and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for the suggestion.

It appears the problem was with my hdmi cable. I tested my set up with a newer and much shorter (too short) hdmi cable and everything looks great now. I just ordered a longer cable that will reach from the projector to the shelf where the components are housed. My picture is now great. Thanks for the responses/suggestions.

Never overlook the little things. Glad you got it sorted out. HDMI does some funny things some times. I've seen it where you just switch the cable end to end and have it work, then switch it back and have issues again.

Please let us know if the new cable fixes your issue.
