I have an older (but still excellent) Pioneer plasma TV (PDP-CMX503) that lacks HDMI inputs. Component only. I would like to match it with my Samsung Blu-Ray DVD and DirecTV 1080i signal, as well as Chromecast.
Can any opine on the likelihood of an older HDFury 3 (white version) working with this hardware configuration? Love the receiver and they TV. Just not sure if there will be HDMI/HDCP version issues.
I have the opportunity to pick up the HD Fury 3 used at a good price, but want to be sure first.
Any/all feedback would be greatly appreciated.

All you can do is try it. If you buy new, Fury has a 30 day return policy. you won't have HDCP issues, but I remember some posts complaining about an H shift issues with early Furys/early TV flatscreens.

HDFury3 has horizontal shift adjustment built in, so I say go for it.
