If the wear is there allready it might get you better phosphor usage.

But what im really saying is install them side by side, and if you go back to one unit, leave it offset, saves a whole lot of setup, and saves moving it, youll probably hardly see a difference if you did move it again.

Just a further note ill add, ive put over 1,000 gaming hours on my CineMAX with a 120" screen, i run the contrast higher for games cause it looks nicer, and looking into the lenses i still cant see any wear on the area that was previously unused due to previous owner setting up too far back.

Since they also burned in some static images from a yoga DVD menu screen im not in the least bit concerned about these tubes wearing and i am running on permanent boost mode, i have a new set to go in when i get around to it.

I dont think tube wear is really something you want to be too concerned about!! Smile
