I am getting ready to install the cabling from my devices to the projector. I am going to have to snake it through the floor joist and want to make sure I install any cabling that I need now or may need in the future. What are the different cables that I should install? I plan on installing the following.
1. RGBHV
2. (2) extra coaxial cables
3. CAT6
4. 4 conducter shielded data grade cable
5. Possibly fiber

Good list.....If it were me, I'd pull at least one fully configured (i.e. connectors already on) HDMI cable as well.
You never know.

What is a CRT gonna do w/ Cat 6 or Fiber optic cable???

You never know.
I'd far rather have a few extra cables under the floor than have to rip up said floor later because I didn't think of every possible future contingency.
Been there, done that.

conduit. really. there right now . annoyed that i didn't.
you have to drill through the joists anyway, the 1" or 3/4" hole you make is easily going to handle tubing that you find at home depot for a buck a foot or less. that $50 is going to make your life SO much easier.
oh, and a pull string. leave a pull string in the conduit under the floor

Just considering anything that may come in the future. I am in the commercial security business so I have access to any cabling that I may need. I had the house built about 6 years ago and have fiber, CAT5 and coaxial cable everywhere and have only used a few of the CAT5 cables. Wireless networks became affordable shortly after the house was built.

I would pull a couple of cat5 cables. YOu may use one for an IR repeater, you may use one to send video with the new devices.
I also agree with the above, pull an HDMI cable.
Not sure what you are going to do with the fiber as I think monst of the vendors that use it use proprietary connectors, but can't hurt!

I am going to working on existing flooring and will be lucky to get a fish tape from point A to B let alone any conduit. Luckily I installed home alarms for 12 years so I am very familiar with installing cabling in a house and videotaped the house construction so I can review the tape to see how the flooring joist are installed. I also have to get a 110v plug to the location as well. I will definitely be putting in some pull strings for future use.

If possible, I would not run the 120volt ac in the same conduit. Might and might not matter, but working on a lot power plants for telephone switching equipment (analog and digital), we always kept video, voice and data as far away from ac or dc power as practical.
Anyway, I'll most likely end up with conduit for power and conduit for the rest. And as always extra pull strings!!!!

The projector cabling will be coming in from one direction and the 110v from the other.
