Has anybody noticed any funky behavior in the "view posts since last visit" feature?
http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/search.php?search_id=newposts
That's how I always read the forum. In the last week or two I've noticed it's not working well. Two strange things:

* I'll read a thread, but the "new unread responses" arrow still shows, as if it thinks I haven't read it yet. Click on that arrow, which used to display only unread responses, and it shows you the same stuff again.

* I'll display the "posts since last visit" page and start reading. Within maybe 5 minutes I'll try to view a thread and it says "no posts since your last visit" (or whatever the message is). It forgets that 5 minutes earlier it said I had unread responses in that thread.

Within the last few months I switched from Firefox to Chrome, and curtpalme.com has seemed a bit flakier since then. I don't know if Chrome is the problem. I haven't noticed this in other forums.

Any suggestions?
Gary

I reset all of the forum indexes. Let me know if this makes any difference.
