My S550 has stopped reading blurays. DVD's no problem but that just makes it an expensive DVD player.

Anyone know where I can get a frikin' laser for this thing?

There is one on eBay now that is $45 for parts not working. Sounds like the lazer is good though.

Frankly, that player was very over priced, was never very good, takes forever to load and boot. I would just buy a new player that will be cheaper and better.

Yes looks like, however I figured if I could fix it for $50 since I paid $300 and I didn't get too much use out of it.

I messaged that guy. He doesn't have any blurays to test with so he doesn't know if the laser is buggered or not.
