Link Posted: Mon Feb 10, 2014 5:07 pm Post subject: which screen for DTV991 choose? |
|
|
On the occasion bought Runco DTV991 12 \ 2000 Mileage 400 hours.
Included DWIN Tran Scanner .
All right.
Film projector screen hanging from 1970.
Bad picture. On the table is a CRT 29 "TV 100Hz, his picture is much nicer.
I know about the high-contrast CRT TV, and it is not comparable with the image projector CRT.
In Russia, we only have a maximum of 61 "TV CRT REAR Projector.
For they have their faults-small size. maximum of 60 "
CRT projector is a rarity.
Of all the fixed screen 60 "-100" to choose?
Where about features for CRT screens information?
I want to see a picture of maximum contrast.
Sorry for the English.
I ask you to respond simple phrases, I am weak in English.
Thank you!

The big problem is that you are running a non HD signal into the DWIN Transcanner, then to the Runco/NEC. If you are running an HD signal into a 29" TV, or even an SD signal, you cannot compare the two pictures.
Second, you haven't shown what condition your tubes are in. take the lenses off and post a picture of the tube condition, like this:

Here are all the manuals for the projector:

Good day!
Mileage RGB 400 hours real.
There is an old TV 1998 JVC-610PRO.
I want to use it for DTV991
Use a screen from JVC610PRO give a good picture?
Cost to conduct an experiment?
Modern rear projection screen is much better than 1998?
Good luck!

hmm definitely a language barrier here. I wonder how well Google will translate Curt's response into russian?
I'll add this, Your projector was built by NEC Japan and is a model XG75 . If you really want a good picture toss the Dwin transcanner in the trash and buy a Moome HDMI card. Then run 720P from a Blue Ray player directly to the machine.
Screen should be WHITE not gray, peferable 1.3 gain.

Good day!
Where can I find a schematic diagram NEC XG75?
I am willing to to purchase it for the right price. I need it in case of breakage.
Good luck.
