|
|
Hi guys,
I got the Snell and Wilcox Interpolator here. Need some help. Does anyone have the installers manual? It's currently stuck in 1152x864 and SDI input. I tried selecting the analog component input from the front panel but no dice.
It's scrolling:
Interpolator Interpolator
SDI:**
DIS:XGA2 (1152x864)
Any help?

It might work , it might not.

Nope, this is a spring switch, click on click off. That trick works on many computer controlled things though.

This one did come from Curt. That one in the post was sold long ago I think.
Anyone buy that one back in 2009? If you have the software I could use it.
EDIT: took out the snippy-ness

Maybe Curt can give you the person he sold it to so they can possibly help you out.

Sorry I just re-read my post and I came off as snippy. Didn't mean to.
Thanks for the help so far.

He sent me the operation manual. It basically praises you for buying a high quality product and under 'Specifications' it says:
"Details are available on request; please call your local Snell& Wilcox sales office"

OK got a picture out of it but the resolution is stated as 'VGA'. Not quite sure how I got a picture though???
Does anyone know how to switch resolutions by the control box?
As it stands I'm using a $42 500 video processor to convert 720x480i component to 640x480 RGBHV LMASSO!

OK figured out how I got the picture. Someone miss labeled component as composite and vice versa ya think these professionals would know the difference.
Still nothing in the menu for resolution. (shrug)

My only guess is that maybe they programmed it at the factory for whatever resolution you ordered it for? Kinda like the Faroudjas...

From what I read if you don't have the PC software, and your device doesn't have the upgrade for onscreen icons then you need a shoebox for it. There are a couple on Ebay but not cheap.

Jeremy - do you have one or two pieces? If one, I think you'll need a controller, whether a PC with software, a controller with serial capability (i.e. AMX, Crestron, iRule), or the "shoebox" as Mac mentioned.

I have the old shoebox controller, so two pieces. It has one LCD screen and all the buttons and the dial for control. The only option I can't find is resolution.

Did you sell the previous S&W? If so was it to someone on the forum?
