They stopped distributing it on the net from what I gather.

I believe it was a ploy to stop unauthorized sales. I had to get my software through the dealer I bought the remote with.

Is it the same as the TX-1000 Editor?

I'll see what I can come up with for you. Looks like URC uses a software package they call "Complete Control" Everything is dead now. I will talk to my dealer for you and see if I can get it. I lost my copy of the TX-1000 editor package any way.

There are a lot of "Pro's" flinging poo at remote central about "Dealers" giving it out as they are not supposed to be commercial remotes. LOL! Never ends.

I will let you know tomorrow what I can get my hands on.

James

Much appreciated James.

As for poo flinging by (alleged) Pro's...

While I don't get out that much...with ONE exception (Curt) I've yet to met a true 'Pro' in the A/V business. I've spoken and/or corresponded electronically with a few (guys like Tim, Jim Peterson at Lumagen, James Tanner at Bryston and some others) and have had the great pleasure in meeting face-to-face with a whole bunch of truly rank amateurs Rolling Eyes ... I find this forum to be a great place to communicate wtih true (and highly unpaid) Pro's.

I have an email in to the place I bought mine as he was busy when I called. Should have something soon.

I personally this it was a bad move for URC to do what they did with the software. If anything they could have released a crippled version so the "DIY" guy/gal could program basic functions and macros but eliminate most of the complicated automation functions and leave that as a "Pro" software version.

Be back in touch soon.

James

I have collected many URC remotes,

2x MX700
4x MX850
1x MX950
1x MX3000

Strange that once you get a good remote, you stick with it.

Now I am onto AMX.

Cheers
