It worked. I have a good image. The VP and BD are set up under the PJ so no sound, I will try to work the Denon into the chain next.
Anything I should do to it first ?

Id keep the denon out of the video chain, just use it for audio and the Lumagen for video.

You might want to try the Lumagen back at your equipment rack using your long HDMI cable.

Jeff do you have an HDMI-HDMI cable for your long run, or is it DVI on one end or something? Do you know which HDMI cable you have?

I think so, It was the best one monoprice had about a year ago. I will see if I can check the part #.
Putting the denon in and it went right back to noise. No image at all.

Oppo HDMI 1 > Lumagen > Projector

Oppo HDMI 2 > Denon

That should be the same thing. Did it go back to noise because of the Denon or the long cable?

I have an image (not going through the Denon) but the PQ is slightly less than when it was on just a 6 foot cable.
Is there a setting on the denon I can change or is it just problamatic ?

I better check, I am not sure if I ordered the repeater and it was backordered or not. I have some other things on backorder too.
In any case it will be here before you are.

Blue Jeans makes a nice HDMI cable as well. For long runs use a good a cable as you can afford.

Still wish you'd slap that G90 up there!! Very Happy

I am going to hang the G90 in the second week of june if all goes to plan, I took too much flack for not trying it first.
Craig says he can make it go with a movable screen. I am going to hang it right where the G70 is and then make the screen temporarily mobile. It took a little but the support staff here talked me off the ledge. So by July I should be enjoying the G90.
I almost cant bear to take the G70 down,Craig made it look so good. I am going to hang it on the other side of the basement where the kids game room is.(That way I can still visit it.)

I was checking the Denon and it doesnt appear to support 1080 P 24
The closest was 1080 P 30
So should I order a DVI - HDMI cable or just get a HDMI-HDMI
Also it would appear that I will also need a switcher along with the extender,I will see if I can find an ALL IN ONE unit.

You don't need a switch. Jeff, you are going to use the two outputs on the Oppo; output 2 will be for audio only so your Denon will be fine and your other sources will be fine. Just get the cable and extender.

Order HDMI-HDMI silver plated copper 22 awg. The DVI-HDMI cables are lower quality. Have a DVI-HDMI converter for the cable.

The Monoprice cables have the best compatibility with Lumagen over long runs. Better than BJ in my findings.

If you already have all HDMI cables just get HDMI-DVI converters to plug into the back of the Lumagen for your short cable runs. For the short ones it does not really matter, but for the long one get HDMI on both ends.

Craig, will this cable work ? It says in the description 1080I it doesnt mention 1080P.
Also the extender does not have a power supply and monoprice does not carry one for it.
http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10240&cs_id=1024002&p_id=3571&seq=1&format=2
They have some REDMERE cables that are high speed,Directional the way I understand it.
I could get that one if you prefer
