I agree with Steve. Not sure of your existing tube wear pattern, but on my g90, I have the displayed picture outside of the existing tube wear. Can I see it? Sure, if I look really, really close during some very bright scenes. And that is only about 1"-2" worth on the outside.
When I try to point this problem to other folks watching, they laugh and say stuff like, "What are you talking about?"
But for me, after watching all the projectors I have, and others for over 5+ years now, well, yes, I am going to bite-the-bullet and have new tubes installed and enjoy it while I can.
Jeff, I am not getting any younger (mid 50's) and want to enjoy stuff while I can.
Heck, if I could redo my entire home theater, I would. The amount of info I have learned from the great folks here would be great; 5 years ago!!!
